For fuck's sake

Where are all the fic comms on DW? I always use Monday evenings for fic-reading (for I am uuuuuuseless for anything else on a Monday), and this is getting annoying. Help? Anyone?

In other news, I'll be at FedCon on Friday and Saturday, instead of just Saturday. Taking back everything I may have said about the organisers: I actually got the free tickets they promised me for my complaint last year. 45 Euros saved and another 45 just handed over - awesome.

The only one I know is the Sherlock flashfic one but I think its just a mirror of the lj one. There are inception and H50 but I think that you aren't in those fandoms?

Have you tried A03?

What is going on with LJ? I need my fic fix.

How do I save it to my hard drive and make it readable?

Congrats on getting free Fedcon tickets. I've been getting con cravings for the last few weeks. Is it end of April, yet?

Sadly all the comm traffic stayed on LJ. Most of the comms here are mirrors that don't get posted to all that often. *sighs*

Yeah, the problem is that for already established comms, LJ is where the readers are, so people (even those who primarily use DW) keep posting fic there, and all the activity stays there while the DW versions get neglected. And when creating new comms, people tend to go to LJ first because that's still where the majority of people are...

So while DW is great for individual users, there's not a whole lot of comm activity. (Which is fine for people like me, who prefer personal journals to comms, but not great for people who want comms!)
