Life is chugging along, and I'm counting the days until my Christmas holidays. Fandom-wise, my current obsession is Guardian, plus the usual multifannish assortment - I'm participating in holmestice and yuletide and public_call right now, but Guardian is definitely my main fandom at the moment. I'm meeting a lot of new people, which is great!

I've seen Guardian on Tumblr. It looks very pretty. And oh, Holmestice! I'm happy to see that's still going strong. *bounces*

Christmas holidays can't come fast enough, if you ask me. Two more weeks of chaos, pffff. Fannishly, I'm not very active at the moment. Fell in love with Hawaii Five-0's Steve/Danny a few years back and haven't found my way out yet.

If you're up for something new to watch, Guardian is definitely recommended! I love it to pieces. :)

And Holmestice is seriously one of the highlights of my fannish year, next to Yuletide and Fandom Stocking.

it's mostly been anime for the past half-decade! sports anime is my favorite genre of that. I'm very into teenage cartoon characters having passionate feelings about hitting balls lmao. altho more recently I've been on a big harry/draco renaissance, reading a ton of fic in that & I started re-reading the books (tho I paused after book 3). how about you?

Still lurking around. Seeing more people move from Tumblr to DW, do that's good. How have you been?

I was pretty happy in the shallow waters of Tumblr, but alas, their newest bright idea has made that more or less impossible. Though the way fandom is sarcastically celebrating the self-inflicted downfall of its current main platform is very entertaining.

Pretty good, thank you! Fannishly, I've been hanging out with a couple of friends via email and writing 'zines ... sort of like going back to the cave, skinning the giant sloths and making shell necklaces to trade.

Very satisfying but I'm looking forward to coming back onto the grid.

Ohhh, that does sound like a nice, quiet-ish way to enjoy fandom, though. Tumblr is very pretty, but it's also very fast.

They doooo, and their reply to my messaging them was less than helpful, so I'm not terribly optimistic. They're definitely misinterpreting the goldfish, but I also think the consider the mist in my header pic to be flesh-coloured. I must be a porn blog!

I'm doing okay. Spent years lurking, then got back into writing last January. Started a new job two months back that's turning out more stressful than I thought, but not in an entirely bad way.

Glad you're doing well and yay on the new job. I started one as well about 4 months ago after 2 years of having to take contract work and being made redundant so it was difficult. New jobs are good. Hope your's isn't too stressful. I have been finding it very difficult to write, think it's because i've been dealing with depression and anxiety and just couldn't get my head around writing. But I've written some bandom rps so at least that was something :)

And a belated birthday greetings. Also I'd like to send you a Christmas card so if you could send me your current address that would be great
