Where are all the fic comms on DW? I always use Monday evenings for fic-reading (for I am uuuuuuseless for anything else on a Monday), and this is getting annoying. Help? Anyone?

In other news, I'll be at FedCon on Friday and Saturday, instead of just Saturday. Taking back everything I may have said about the organisers: I actually got the free tickets they promised me for my complaint last year. 45 Euros saved and another 45 just handed over - awesome.

Apparently it's politically motivated DDos attacks. I used LJ's up-time this morning to quickly browse my f-list and download every fic I planned to read to my hard drive. Am I ever glad I did. Gah.

How do I save it to my hard drive and make it readable?

Which browser are you using?

Internet explorer or firefox

[lavvyan]

With Firefox, just hit Ctrl+S and save the page in html format to your hard drive (you might want to copy-paste the title of the fic). Takes away next to no space and can be opened with any browser to view offline.

Oh! Make sure to select "html-only" as the format to save, otherwise you'll get a folder full of useless, if prettifying, data.
